Public education on fabricated evidence and AI-generated media.

This property is independently owned. Lexeprint’s relationship to it is editorial and publishing, not proprietary.

Courts are now regularly presented with material that may have been generated rather than recorded, and the doctrine for handling it is being written case by case. The project tracks those decisions alongside explanatory material on how the underlying generation and detection methods actually work.

The editorial premise is that detection tools alone will not settle these questions, because a detector’s output is itself expert evidence that has to be explained, challenged, and weighed. Understanding how the material was made is what lets a court reason about it at all.

It is a project of Global Cyber Institute, Inc., an independent 501(c)(3), and is listed here as affiliated rather than owned.
